Silence!

Most days are like this

Quarantine. Isolation. Reminiscence

She was dancing with her father in front of me

I smiled. And sighed and cried within.

Silence

put your finger on your lips

Make no sound

Do NOT tell anyone.

They say your environment influences who you are

I agree

Except for destiny

A gold coin hidden in mud is still a gold coin

However dirty

Life is a game of cards

playing; dealt to us

the wicked hands of our fathers

Some life is harsh.

The physically abused child is still mentally aging

Forever stuck, sick With

The stench in her mouth from holding inside all the fury

When daddy left, my little brother grew instantly

He become the protector

Practising by beating me

We still love them

These latent ones who are friendly

Because when love has shown you its closet

You decide what you want to wear

Which one suits you best

Familiar outlets..✍🏽
