The Anthem (YMC)

73/133

The anthem

To the Young Millenial Christian

Blazing through the maze of new found faith

From infancy through adolescence

There is a safe space.

This is a safe space.

To the Young Millenial Christian

Happy to have found Jesus.

Beaming with joy through the trials

Patiently awaiting the rapture

There is a safe space.

This is a safe space

To the Young Millenial Christian

Struggling between addictions and talents

Garbage in. Word in. Garbage out. Word out

The cycles maintaining throughout your entire life

There is a safe space

This is a safe space

To the Young Millenial Christian

Who has been through stuff.

Good stuff. Messy stuff. Just stuff.

And now coming out victorious.

There is a safe space.

This is a safe space.

To the Young Millenial Christian

Dragging your feet through the valleys

After plummeting down the plateau into numbness

Where no praise or prayer uplifts you

There is a safe space

This is a safe space.

Our stories have already been engraved in the scrolls of heaven

Our tears have been recorded

Our prayers are being heard

Our spirits are being fed

There is a safe space in Jesus

This is a safe space if we believe.

Young Millenial Christian

as I like to call my readers.

This is a community of faith builders

A collection of stories being written

We’re getting there.

Light of the world plugging daily to our source

Determined to see Jesus after the first death.

To the Young Millenial Christian

We learn

We fight

We fall

We rise

I am a young millenial Christian

Daily, becoming like Christ.
