BELOVED OF GOD. !
Dear one, you are and have always been loved by God!
He has loved us with an everlasting unconditional love. One that we cannot explain or be ever separated from and what a great privilege it is to know this truth!
Whenever I see a mother with her new born child, I am often intrigued by how enamored she is with the baby. The expressions of love cannot be described yet is very palpable. She will go to lengths to protect and care for the baby and the latter is often viewed as the most precious, delicate human in the world.
The baby is loved overwhelmingly and yet this kind of love is nothing compared to how God loves us.
Humanity thrives on community, forming bonds of friendships, family, and relationships to feel the need to belong. At the core, everyone wants to feel and fulfill the need to be loved and we often go to great lengths for love as the world sees it. The deficit of love we feel can drive us to states of low self-esteem, depression and make all sorts of bad decisions which jeopardize our lives. We desperately yearn to love and be loved but dear one, the good news is, you are already loved!
We have always been loved, even when we didn’t deserve it. More than a mother’s love for her baby, nothing can separate you from this great love God has for you. ‘Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.’ (Rom 8:38-39). Not your low self esteem, mistakes or sins can separate you from the love of God.
On the contrary, God is lovingly inviting you to accept His offer of pardon through Jesus and discover who you really are – loved of God!
You are so precious to Him He sent His only Son to die for you.
He loves you so much that you were worth dying for, and if for only you, Jesus had to die, He would do it all over again, just for you.
Beloved, how differently would you view yourself if only you know just how much God loves you?.
What kind of decisions would you make differently, if you could see yourself how God sees you.?
How will you treat others if you knew how valuable we all are in the sight of God?
What self-esteem will you carry if You knew you were beloved by God?
Be comforted by this scripture Genesis 16:13 which says ‘You are the God who sees me’, and know that you are so loved by God and His eye is on you.
Be confident and walk in this truth.
You are precious, cherished and beloved of God!
Memory verse
(Jeremiah 31:3) I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.
